Paint work protection packages start from as little as £120 for a small car such as a mini, rising to £150 for a medium sized car such as a 3 series BMW. They are ideal for new and nearly new cars , the gentle polishing process really makes the paint stand out improving on the manufacturers finish. A choice of wax or sealant will then protect the paintwork and your wheels from the elements, protecting your investment. Average time taken 6-8 hours.
Your car, arches and wheels will be washed, clayed to remove surface contamination (even essential for a brand new car) and given a gentle machine polish using a finishing pad and Meguiars #205 professional polish. This will ensure the surface is fully cleaned and ready to take the wax or sealant. It is this process that takes the majority of the time and one that a car dealer will not do prior to applying similar products or packages.
The vehicle and wheels will then be waxed or sealed. Both a wax and a sealant offer protection for your vehicle, perhaps the best way to compare the two is using the comparison of Vinyl records and CD's. A wax will give a warmer glow to the paint whilst a sealant will give a more colder but often shinier appearance. Typically the Shine Factory uses Race-Glaze-Black-Label Concourse wax and the Zaino sealant system.
The lines have however been blurred by the manufacturers and sealants and waxes are becoming increasingly similar, however whatever product you opt to use from the Shine Factory you can be assured of a long lasting, durable finish that really compliments your paintwork.
